Monica Valentine

Monica brings a strong blend of passion, experience, and deep roots in Grand Rapids, Michigan to the organization. A lifelong resident of the area, with a brief period living in Miami, Florida, she values community connection and cultural exploration. Her personal and professional approach is grounded in loyalty, mutual respect, and meaningful relationship‑building.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Davenport University and a Master’s degree in Public Relations from Full Sail University. In 2019, Monica launched her podcast, "TalkMoTalk," a platform inspired by her curiosity and love for authentic conversation. She also serves as a co‑host and content creator for "What’s the 411GR," a podcast produced by the Black Impact Collaborative, where she contributes insight on community, culture, and current topics.

As she continues to rebrand her personal podcast, Monica draws inspiration from the philanthropic mission of the NIA Centre. She is excited to contribute her voice, creativity, and long‑term commitment in support of the organization’s work and impact.
