NIA Centre Temporary Space

We are delighted to announce that NIA Centre has opened a temporary space at 300 Commerce Ave. SW in downtown Grand Rapids. This will allow us to serve underserved and diverse populations within the 3rd Ward and Heartside area. The NIA Centre offices and community engagement center’s purpose is for sharing and expressing African American culture.

In compliance with social distancing guidelines, the center’s meeting and co-working space is available for members and the community to utilize. Anyone entering the facility must practice social distancing and adhere to state and federal guidelines in helping to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Discounts for room rental will be provided to 3rd Ward residents and organizations serving the homeless in the Heartside area. Finally, a room rental discount will also be extended to NIA Centre members.
